Weekly Nutrition and Diet Management Post – 7/11/22

I know it has been awhile! I hope you all have been eating well and getting plenty of exercise. This month, we will be focusing on healthy grilling and food prep safety. See the educational link below.

Great news!! We have confirmed our date for our community grill out. Our event will be held on Monday, July 25^th from 5:30-7:00 pm at the new Lebanon Fire Station. We will have food to grill and we will prepare all of side dishes in the fire department’s state of the art kitchen. We will also be getting help from Lebanon Fire Department and the Warren County Health Department regarding food and fire safety. I hope to have you all there! Be sure to bring your families.

This is a community event, and all are welcome to attend. Please notify me of interest in attending and an approximation of guests you plan to bring. I may also be sending more questions about food interest. Here is what is on the menu so far:

Balsamic herb steak, grilled chicken, or grilled fish (let me know what you prefer)
Beef/turkey/Beyond burgers (let me know which you prefer)
Greek yogurt potato salad
Creamy cauliflower mac-n-cheese
Summer bean salad
Summer fruit salad
Fudgy date brownies

After Hours Immunization Appointments

The Warren County Health District recognizes the importance of immunizations. Due to the high demand for required school immunizations at this time, we will be offering an evening clinic to ensure all families have an opportunity to get their children’s required school vaccinations. Appointments will be available on Tuesday, September, 17th from 3:15-6:00 pm. Please call 513-695-1468 to schedule an appointment. This clinic is for school immunization requirements needed for Kindergarten, 7th Grade, and 12th Grade only. Medicaid, Most Medicaid Managed Care Plans, Contracted Private Insurance and a Sliding Fee Scale available. Previous immunization record required.
